DILA Day 2025
This past week, we celebrated our annual DILA Day in Mexico City —this year we hosted a two-day gathering filled with meaningful conversations, powerful connections, and unforgettable experiences. Every year, this event brings together our incredible founders, investors, and partners to reflect on our shared journey and look ahead to what’s next for DILA Capital and the broader venture capital ecosystem.
Day One: Connections Over a Great Meal
We kicked things off with an intimate lunch at Blanco Castelar, one of Mexico City’s most iconic venues. Hosted by Consubanco and Grupo Carolo, this setting provided the perfect atmosphere for founders and investors to engage in candid conversations and foster deeper relationships.
Day One Evening: Courtside Excitement with Capitanes CDMX
Later that evening, we took the excitement to the court as we cheered on Capitanes CDMX during their NBA G League game against Oklahoma City Blue. With courtside seats and a private cocktail gathering, this event gave everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a unique experience outside the traditional business setting. A special thank you to the Capitanes for welcoming us to the game and making the evening truly memorable.
Day Two: DILA Day Conference at Museo Tamayo
The second day was all about diving deep into the state of venture capital and exploring the opportunities and challenges ahead. Held at the beautiful Museo Tamayo, our DILA Day Conference featured insightful panels and keynote speeches from the managing partners of DILA Capital and industry experts.
Discussions covered a range of topics, from the current state of Mexican politics and macroeconomic enviorment, to the evolving dynamics of the startup ecosystem in Latin America and beyond. The conversations sparked new ideas and left attendees inspired to push boundaries in their respective fields.
We closed out the conference with a party in the museum’s explanada, featuring delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and vibrant networking. This celebration was a testament to the strength of our community and the shared belief in the potential of the region’s innovators and entrepreneurs.
